Album Photos

• Framed Photographs & Prints: We can scan most framed items, and whenever possible, we’ll carefully remove the photo from the frame for a cleaner scan. If removal isn’t feasible, we’ll crop the scan to exclude the frame border.
• Large & Panoramic Prints: Photos or documents exceeding A3 size, like panoramic school pictures, will be scanned in sections and then expertly stitched together digitally. This service incurs a £15.00 fee per image.
• Photo Albums: Ideally, photos should be removed from albums for individual scanning using our loose photo service. However, we understand this might not always be practical. We offer two album scanning options:
  • Full Page Scans: We scan each album page entirely, capturing any notes or memorabilia alongside the photos.
  • Individual Photo Scans (Additional Cost): We meticulously crop each photo from the page, creating separate digital files for each image. This time-intensive process incurs an additional 15p per photo.
• Photo Wallets: We highly recommend removing photos from wallets before sending them. Loose photos can be scanned using our faster and more affordable loose photo service. While we can remove, scan, and return photos within wallets, removing them yourself is always preferable.
• High-Resolution Scans: Every photo we scan is saved at a resolution of 600dpi. This ensures you get a larger, high-quality image that can be reprinted at larger sizes without losing detail – perfect for creating lasting keepsakes.
• Effortless Sharing: Share your digital memories with loved ones in a flash! Email them directly, or upload them to social media platforms like Facebook to relive those special moments together.

Each batch of photos you send will be placed in a designated folder, named either according to your provided description or using a unique reference number.
